Current Team
Andrew joined the NCBPNG Steering Committee in 2017. He is a Research Scientist and founder of CoreBioPathways LLC which specializes in bioinformatics, data analysis, and laboratory efficiency consulting.
Matt joined the NCBPNG Steering Committee in 2023.
DJ joined the NCBPNG Steering Committee in 2023.
Jessica joined the steering committee in 2025.
Maddy Kelsey is an Account Manager at Dexian, where she plays a key role in supporting a broad range of specialized functions across the Life Sciences sector, including Data, Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, PMO, IT, and Applications. With a strong foundation in client relationship management, Maddy partners with leading pharmaceutical and biotech companies to connect them with top-tier talent, while also guiding candidates towards roles that align with their skills and goals. She’s excited to be a part of NCBPNG!
David Carico is an Account Manager with Integra Testing Services, supporting Controlled Environment services across North Carolina and the surrounding region. In his role, David works closely with pharmaceutical, biotech, healthcare, university, and life sciences clients to support cleanroom certification, HEPA filter integrity testing, USP <797>/<800> compliance support, BSC and fume hood certification, and related controlled environment services.
David is focused on building strong relationships throughout the NC life sciences community by connecting facility teams, project managers, validation groups, cleanroom manufacturers, and construction partners with reliable testing and certification resources. His goal is to help customers maintain compliant, audit-ready environments while supporting projects from early planning through turnover and routine certification.
Through his involvement with NCBPNG, David looks forward to helping strengthen connections across the local biopharma network and supporting continued growth within North Carolina’s life sciences community.
Marty O’Boyle currently serves as the Head of Consulting – North America for Koerber-Pharma, which specializes in pharma engineering consulting for life science manufacturing companies. He is also the founder and president of Sandpiper Technical Solutions, a full service solutions provider for biopharma laboratory automation. Marty started his engineering career as an applications engineer specializing in pneumatic, hydraulic, and electromechanical design. In 1999, he joined Klockner-Medipak Inc, in Clearwater, FL (now Koerber-Pharma) as a packaging machinery project engineer. Over a twenty-year period he fulfilled a variety of roles in service to Koerber’s clients in the life sciences market (Project Engineer, Project Manager, Validation Engineer, Technical Sales Director, and Technical Director for North American Operations). In 2019, Marty founded Sandpiper to expand into the growing field of life science automation, at the laboratory scale. Marty joined the NCBPNG Steering Committee in 2022.
Pratik joined the NCBPNG Steering Committee in 2024.
Matt Troskey, MBA, is Director of Business Development at BioDuro, a global CRDMO providing integrated drug discovery, development, and manufacturing solutions for biotechnology and pharmaceutical companies. He partners with innovators across the Mid-Atlantic and Southeast regions to advance novel therapeutics from early discovery through development and commercialization. Through BioDuro’s integrated scientific and manufacturing capabilities, he helps clients accelerate the path from concept to clinic.
With extensive experience supporting drug discovery and development programs, Matt has worked with emerging biotech companies, venture-backed startups, and established pharmaceutical organizations to address complex scientific and operational challenges. He is passionate about fostering strategic partnerships, connecting industry leaders, and helping innovators navigate the evolving life sciences landscape.
As Head of Sponsorship for the NCBPNG Steering Committee, Matt is dedicated to building strategic partnerships that strengthen North Carolina’s biopharmaceutical community. He works closely with industry sponsors and stakeholders to support educational programming, networking opportunities, and initiatives that connect professionals across the life sciences ecosystem.
By day, Delaine Zundell leads business development across the Southeast and Midwest for Cyagen, working with biotech founders and academic innovators to support complex preclinical programs. She approaches growth strategically, but builds it personally — one strong relationship at a time.
By night (and early morning), she’s a runner, weightlifter, cat foster, and enthusiastic baker. She finds balance outdoors, draws energy from community, and genuinely loves connecting great people with each other.
